tldr; I realized I should share these 40+ movies you can and should
watch for the ultimate Halloween vibes & the best movie nights ever

I don't know about you, but I've been cheated out of normal Halloween experiences for way longer than just the Pandemic Years. I've always surrounded myself with people who don't need to be under the influence of other things to have fun - and that's the way I like it! But as a result, I haven't been to any Halloween parties except for as a kid. In college and my 20s I always thought it would be something I did, because it's supposed to be something you just do!? Like a rite of passage... Alas, it never happens. So I just curl up and watch movies all month. I don't even bother to dress up because we're "too old" to trick-or-treat in our mid-20s, and I'm not partying, so why bother getting a costume? Just for the 'gram? Nah, too broke for that (amirite lmao).
That's not even the kicker: My mom decided two years ago to stop decorating altogether because we don't get kids on our street! We live at the end of a cul-de-sac, and across the road there are way bigger, richer houses that the kids prefer -- also, nobody else on my street does much decorating. They're either old or they have kids of their own they're trick-or-treating with. Those may be solid reasons, but mixed with the fact my mom usually has literally no chill during Halloween, the kids are probably too scared to come by anyway (PTSD-inducing Halloween CD from my childhood, terrifying decorations, and my mom makes a great, scary witch).
Anyway here are a list of movies I've seen already (I should've waited to watch them tbh, I feel like I watched the best of the bunch?), and some that are on my list. Most of these you can find on Netflix, but I've also found a few I wanna see on Prime Video and just streamed on the internet somewhere. You can watch one movie a day and still have some left over! Enjoy 🖤🧡
PS don't come at me for not having seen the Purge, Amityville Horror... also, some other things haven't made the list. I can't remember every movie I've ever seen!?

There you have it, folks. I wanna keep adding to the list myself because I know there's plenty of good ones out there to be seen but there are at least 5 days in October where I won't be able to watch any, so 40ish is already way more than enough. There's plenty there for a movie night or two as well if you're up for it (u gonna invite me? or?...).
Let me know what you've been watching or what I missed!
DM me some suggestions if you think they're super worth it.
xx,
