Space, Bitch

tldr; i realized (or remembered is probably a better word) how much i love space...

Nicole suggests the topic of space
HI BBY <3

The first thing I thought of when I read 'space' was that quickly viral thing where some student(s?) found new planets and there were photos of pastel and pink versions of it all over the place... so so so gorgeous. So I was looking for that online and then I found this cool virtual home thing from NASA and that brought me to skincare by NASA... so I'm in a deep dark hole that I have no intentions of leaving. Space is fuckin cool to me and it's something I can't wrap my head around. Thank you for bringing this topic up for discussion because I'm excited to write more about things nobody else but the two of us cares about ;)

I can't address this topic without first confessing my love for Brave Little Toaster, and I'd like to say I tried to make a quirky title with that in mind but it's not about BLT, it's about regular ol' space... so.

Okay where do I start? My mind is so jumbled. Let's do the skincare stuff, because it caught me the most off guard out of the other space things I found by accident. Basically there's this virtual experience where you can tour a home and city through NASA's website and click on different everyday items and learn how NASA has impacted them, and it's actually really cool. I was in the house and in the upstairs bathroom where I found the skin cream...

Skin cream: Using a NASA-patented bioreactor, one company uses agents from human fibroblasts (cells that produce collagen) to enrich its skin cream products.

You're gonna wanna click on the three links I attached previously to see why I'm so impressed by it. And then what I need one of you to do is to purchase it, use it for a while and then let me know if it's worth it. I can't justify the purchase for myself but maybe someone else could. That's such a cool concept / product. Or you could always get me one for my birthday ;) (June!)

OKAY NOW LETS TALK ABOUT THE PINK PLANET NASA FOUND

Okay so some incredibly smart (and lucky) 17 year old NASA intern found a planet on his THIRD DAY working for them. It's the only planet in its solar system or whatever, and it's 7 times bigger than Earth. It has two stars, one is bigger and hotter than the sun and one is smaller and cooler. Unfortunately for us all, there's no way to know if it's actually pink or not. The photo of it is real other than the colours... but this is how I choose to believe it truly looks. It's magical! Imagine living on a pink planet?! SUNSETS!?

I think that's all I'll say about both topics today? You can do your own homework ;) Nicole, this was a great suggestion and thank you for sending me down a black hole (pun INTENDED) of space shit to choose from. I love learninggggggg.
